Glastonbury Festival – Not Completely Unknown
I really hope all you Glastonbury Festival goers pop by the Acoustic Stage at 3pm on Saturday June 28th to hear and witness this very special tribute to a great man.
Not Completely Unknown will feature some of Europe’s greatest singers performing songs by America’s leading voice of freedom. It is going to be a VERY emotional day for me as I am the Host and all I can say is you are in for a treat and a surprise or two.
Bob, we are gonna do you proud. You have my word…
Not Completely Unknown
A Celebration of the songs of Bob Dylan
Featuring: Paul Carrack, Sid Griffin, Katya, Ralph McTell, Liam O Maonlai
It seems like this must be the favoured year to do this, but we thought now might just well be the perfect time for The Acoustic Stage (15.00 on Sat 28th June) to do a tribute to the songs of Bob Dylan. Under the banner of, “Not Completely Unknown: A Celebration of the Songs of Bob Dylan” hosted by Sid Griffin(from The Long Ryders), along with Acoustic Stage favourite, Katya; the legendary Paul Carrack; Liam O Maonlai from the Hothouse Flowers, who surely should be saints by now; plus maybe even a guest or two including the just announced, the magnificent Ralph McTell.
We can guarantee you that if it’s pouring rain, we’ll keep you dry; if the sun is splitting the trees we’ll give you shade and on top of that, if that needs topping, we’ll get to hear a selection of songs from one of the best song-writers ever to have walked this planet.
