Native Sons Expanded Edition – Out Now!

The Long Ryders three CD box set for Native Sons is out now

TODAY is the day the Long Ryders’ classic album, Native Sons, is released as a box set thanks to Cherry Red Records – cherryred.co/NativeSons

The first CD is the remastered original album, the second CD contains unreleased demos and outtakes (Vitus Matare, thank you!) and the third CD is the previously unreleased 🥵 scorching live set we did at Dingwall’s in London in March 1985. (Lemmy was there cheering us on and I saw Elvis Costello stand in line and buy a ticket to attend…even tho’ I had borrowed his Rickenbacker 12-string as mine was being repaired.😳Talk about a nice gesture!)

The late Tom Stevens and I started work on this box set before COVID so it is an emotional day for me as you can imagine. This was a BIG indie/alternative/college radio album back in the day and I like to think it still stands up. Gene Clark, thanks for singing on it with us and say hi to Crosby for us.
