Coal Porters heard ’round the World via Bob Harris & BBC
Broadcast October 28th, 2012 the Coal Porters live session for the BBC DJ legend who is known to all as Whisperin’ Bob Harris was by some measure the most important live radio performance of the band’s past decade of acoustic picking!
Recorded at the BBC Studios off Regent Street on a grey London autumnal day things could not have gone much better. The band was in rare form, Whisperin’ Bob was his typically jolly and informative self and the BBC tea and coffee, as ever, proved ghastly.
