Solo Shows in Spain for 2018

Sid will play five solo shows in Spain in February 2018.

On February 8th Sid will also be appearing and playing live on the Espíritu de Rock N Roll show on Radio Círculo Madrid ahead of that evenings solo performance in Murcia.

The show is broadcast from 12pm and is also available via a podcast after the broadcast.

Sid Griffin is the ex-leader of The Long Ryders, a foundation stone of Alt-country and an important link in the chain of Americana. He is currently the main man behind The Coal Porters. He is performing solo for the first time in several years after releasing his highly-acclaimed solo album, The Trick Is To Breathe, which was Uncut magazine’s Americana Album Of The Month and appeared on many Best Of lists at the year’s end.

An author of four books including the Amazon best-selling music tome Million Dollar Bash: Bob Dylan, The Band & the Basement Tapes, Sid also wrote the liner notes for the recent Basement Tapes box set of Dylan’s legendary 1967 sessions. Sid is also heard frequently on BBC Radio 6 Music ’s Radcliffe & Maconie show where he is “Resident Musicologist”.
