The Dylan Hours, featuring the music of and related works by and about American singer-songwriter, author, musician and poet, Bob Dylan, airs every Sunday from 5–7pm on KCSN. The show is programmed, produced and hosted by Lisa Finnie, a Los Angeles–based singer–songwriter and longtime Bob Dylan fan. Lisa plays greatest hits and classic album cuts
along with rare and obscure tracks from Dylan’s five illustrious decades of recording.

The Dylan Hours is a theme–based show, and each week Lisa plays Dylan’s sound recordings that she links by various ideas, often selecting themes that relate to happenings in the world of Bob Dylan as well as general topics in the news, social and political events, holidays, the weather, etc. In addition to tying the songs together by theme, Lisa researches and incorporates background information about each track into her broadcast, such as musician and producer credits and recording session dates and locations.

Lisa also conducts periodic interviews with writers and artists who have participated in Bob-Dylan-related projects. Some special interview guests have included Princeton professor, historian and author, Sean Wilentz; former LA Times pop music critic and editor, Robert Hilburn; film director, Todd Haynes; cultural critic and author, Greil Marcus; author/musician/broadcaster, Sid Griffin; and musician/journalist, Michael Simmons.
